Pujas & Festivals
There are a number of daily religious ceremonies and also yearly festivals at Shirdi. The three most important festivals are of Ramnavami, Guru Purnima and Punya Tithi on Vijayadashami day.

5.05 am | Holy bath of Sai Baba (Mangal Snan) |
5.35 am | Aarti “Shirdi Majhe Pandharpur” |
5.40 am | Darshan begins at Samadhi Mandir |
11.30 am | Dhuni Puja with rice & ghee in Dwarkamai |
12 noon – 12.30 pm | Mid day Aarti |
4 pm | Pothi (devotional reading / study) |
At Sunset | Dhoop Aarti |
8.30 pm – 10 pm | Devotional songs in Samadhi Mandir |
9 pm | Chavadi & Gurusthan closes |
9.30 pm | At Dwarkamai water is offered, lamps lit |
9.45 pm | Dwarakamai closes |
10.30 pm – 10.50 pm | Shej Aarti. A shawl wrapped around statue in Samadhi Mandir. Rudraksha beads placed around his neck. |
11.15 pm | Samadhi Mandir closes after Aarti. |

PALANQUIN CEREMONY is arranged every Thursday at 9.15 pm.
DARSHAN LINE CLOSED 11.15 am – 1.00 pm during Afternoon Aarati. 10 pm during Shej Aarati. Half an hour before Dhupa Aarati.
Festivals at Shirdi
The three main festivals of Ramnavami, Guru Purnima and Shri Punyatithi has devotees gathering in thousands at Shirdi. The programme includes puja, devotional songs, parayana – readings of scriptures and devotional texts, palanquin and chariot processions. The Samadhi Mandir and Dwarkamai remain open day and night. There are bhajan and quawalli concerts around Shirdi.
